South Beach Smoke Review

South Beach Smoke Review

Finding the right electronic cigarette is not easy and you definitely can’t make up your mind until you actually try a few of them. However, before you do that, you need to know as much as possible about that certain product, or, at least, this is what I felt. And this is how I ended up researching on South Beach Smoke, an electronic cigarette that I have heard about and wanted to know more. So let me tell you what I learned and why I ordered it at the end of the process.

It turns out that producers came up with two different products, the so-called Deluxe Starter Kit, with an extra version Deluxe Plus, and Premium Starter Kit, again with a Premium plus alternative. As its name suggests, Deluxe Starter is supposed to be of better quality, a little more expensive and with just two pieces, while Premium Starter is more affordable and it has three pieces. But let’s take them one at a time.

Deluxe Starter Kit
To put things simple, this offer involves a cigarette made from a cartridge and an atomizer combined into a solid piece. The package consists of:

  • 1 standard battery, the lithium ion type, supposing to provide between 300 and 400 puffs
  • 1 high capacity battery, with 0.75 more inches, again lithium ion, that may provide you from 500 to 600 puffs
  • 1 wall charger, portable
  • 5 cartridges with atomizers, available in 5 flavors, that make the equivalent of 8 packs of tobacco cigarettes
  • 1 owner’s manual

The Deluxe Plus package brings a few extra features such as an USB charger, a car adapter, the universal type, for USB chargers and a carrying case. It should make things easier for you to enjoy South Beach Smoke whenever you hit the road.

In addition to these, Delux Starter costs 60 $ and Delux Plus Starter 150 $.

Premium Starter Kit
In comparison with the above presented package, Premium Starter e-cigarettes separate the atomizer from the cartridge, creating a three piece cigarette offered together with:

  • 1 lithium ion battery
  • 1 atomizer for creating vapors
  • 1 wall charger, portable
  • 6 light cartridges with nicotine flavor, the equivalent of 6 traditional cigarette packs

Again, if you go for the Premium Plus offer, an USB charger and an universal car adapter for it together with a carrying case will raise the bill a little, from 30 $, which is the price of the Premium Kit, to 75 $, the costs of the Premium Plus Kit.

Even though producers make an obvious difference between the two main types of products even in terms of cartridges, the provided flavors are the same for both of them: tobacco, chocolate, vanilla, cherry and menthol.
Cartridges may have:

  • 18 mg nicotine, considered full flavor
  • 14 mg nicotine, a light cigarette
  • 11 mg nicotine, an ultra light one
  • 0 mg nicotine

The only difference between packages is that Deluxe cartridges cost 40 $ when bought individually and 32 $ at bulk while Premium ones are usually 35 $ and 28 $ at bulk.

On this chapter I found a few products that might be necessary for you at some point, as a backup piece. So you can separately purchase pretty much everything from batteries and USB chargers with car or wall adaptors to atomizers and carry cases.

Other features
If there is something to appreciate, it would be the lifetime replacement warranty, the possibility of becoming a member of their club and then benefit from special offers and the chance to buy cartridges 20% cheaper through their personal Home Delivery Program.

I had to try South Beach Smoke and while it is hard to describe the experience, I can at least say that no combustion, no smoke and no tobacco were enjoyable. I found them easy to use and since I wanted to try a mixed pack of cartridges, I used all the five flavors. Even though I wasn’t expecting to be tickled by the tobacco one, it felt indeed just like the old times. Only that this time, my fingers didn’t have the tobacco smell impregnate, the pressure in my chest was gone and even the throat heat was decent enough.

From my experience, there is a lot more when it comes to flavored cartridges, and even though I liked what I tried, I still feel it would have been nice for South Beach Smoke to come up with a larger variety. I was also a little bit disappointed to discover that my order was on their waiting list when I called to find out what’s with the delivery delay, but I finally received it. As I enjoy my last cartridge, with vanilla flavor, analyzing my investment, I kind of think it wasn’t a terrible one, and yet, not the best I could have made.
